The newly created Lindenwood University Golf Organization is on the look out for an adviser.
The student organization is looking for a staff or faculty member who would be willing to take on the role. The organization will aim to bring together students who are interested in golf as well as the opportunity to play with each.
“The adviser will be expected to serve as a mentor to the President and the rest of the organisation,” said Christopher Pinne. “As an organization, we would be asking them to assist and give advice in dealings with the school.”
The group also has an interest in the possibility of doing some charity work, which will include running a couple of charity golf outings or tournaments.
“Through these events we would seek out people around the community to come play in a tournament and donate the proceeds to a charity that has been determined by the organization,” said Pinne.
Any interested staff or faculty member is asked to contact Christopher Pinne at [email protected].
