Oktoberfest is back another year, bringing with it beer and live music to St. Charles this weekend.
The festival will include a fun run, an antique car show and a brat-eating contest, according to St. Charles Oktoberfest’s website. Oktoberfest themed bands and many local musicians will provide music rising over the beer garden tent and novelty vendors.
Pop-rock band Contagious, the Obenheimer Express Band and 16 other groups are scheduled to perform throughout the festival.
Nearby, the Oktoberfest festival in St. Louis was ranked the sixth best of its kind in the country by WalletHub earlier this month.
The festival is being held in St. Charles’ Frontier Park and will run Friday night through Sunday afternoon. Festival hours are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
