The Lindenwood women’s volleyball team will look to add to its four-game winning streak when it takes on Missouri S&T (5-13) Tuesday night.
The Lions are coming off back-to-back victories at home against conference opponents, Southwest Baptist and Missouri Southern.
The game will be played in Rolla, Missouri, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Lindenwood will look to continue its stellar defensive effort when it hits the road. The Lions have held their opponents to an average hitting percentage of .112 over their last four games. The Lions have hit .252 in that same span.
The Lions will look to freshman, Sadie Kosciuk, to continue her run ay Missouri S&T. The 6-foot-2-inch middle hitter had a career high 14 kills in the Lions last game against Southwest Baptist.
The Lions will also lean heavily on offensive leader Emily Wylie. Wylie has recorded 200 kills and is hitting .278 on the season. Wylie looks to be heading toward a historic season for the Lions. The senior is set to record 320 kills if she keeps up this pace.
“Emily can do things few hitters can at this level,” Lindenwood volleyball head coach Will Condon said. “She creates mismatches for us and helps open things up for our other hitters because of the attention she gets from defenses.”
