Linden Lodge to host drive-in movie night

Lindenwood students and staff as well as community members are encouraged to head out to the Linden Lodge tonight, Nov. 8, for a drive-in viewing of “Young Frankenstein” in the parking lot.

“Young Frankenstein” is an American comedy horror movie directed by Mel Brooks that was released in 1974. The movie is a parody of classic horror movies, particularly the many adaptations of “Frankenstein” written by Mary Shelley.

According to imdb.com, in “Young Frankenstein,” an American grandson of the infamous mad scientist Victor Frankenstein, “struggling to prove that he is not as insane as people believe, is invited to Transylvania, where he discovers the process that reanimates a dead body.”

The movie takes viewers on an emotional roller coaster with the struggling grandson as he follows in the footsteps of his grandfather.

Lindenwood students and staff can view the movie for free. However, those who do not attend of work at Lindenwood will be charged $5 per car.

Those in attendance will also receive free popcorn during the movie.
