Are you in search of a reason to get up and out of your dorm this week? Here are five things that you can do this week on Lindenwood’s campus and around the St. Charles area. 

1. Celebrate diversity on Lindenwood’s campus with Campus Activities Board this week.

Lindenwood’s Campus Activities Board is hosting events throughout the week to celebrate diversity on campus. A full list of events can be found below.

2. See a Lindenwood student performance of “The Cripple of Inishmaan.”  
Tuesday, Feb. 13 – Friday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.
The Emerson Black Box Theater

“The Cripple of Inishmaan” is a comedic Irish tale about a Hollywood film director visiting the island of Inishmore for his film. Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office in the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts. General admission tickets are $10 for the public and free for Lindenwood students with IDs. More information on this performance can be found here

3. Express yourself through art with the Black Student Union.
Wednesday, Feb. 13
6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Evans Commons Multipurpose Room (3020)

Lindenwood’s Black Student Union is hosting a “Paint It Black” art event as a part of Black History Month. Participants can be creative and express themselves through art. Click here for more information on this event.

4. Take a chance with speed dating on Valentine’s Day.  
Wednesday, Feb. 14
7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Spellmann AB Leadership Room

If you find yourself going solo on Valentine’s Day, meet someone new at a speed dating event hosted by the Black Student Union. For more information on this fun and relaxed version of speed dating, click here

5. Score some prizes and enter in a raffle at Kappa Delta Pi’s trivia night. 
Saturday, Feb. 17
7 p.m.
Spellmann AB Leadership Room

Kappa Delta Pi is hosting its fourth annual trivia night this weekend. Participants can come individually or purchase a table of up to eight people. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Click here for more information on the event including contact information for table purchases.
