The weekly crime log is a list of incidents that have been reported over the course of the week on and around Lindenwood’s campus. All information is provided by Public Safety and Security.
Sept. 4
- In the Hyland Arena parking lot, an incident of leaving the scene of an accident/property damage was reported between 10:50 a.m. and 2 p.m., but no suspects or witnesses were located. The case is closed.
Sept. 5
- Six minors were caught in possession of alcohol in Irwin Hall at 9:50 p.m. One was a non-student, and no further action has been taken; the others were forwarded to the Office of Student Development for review. All cases are closed.
- Property damage that occurred on Glenco Drive between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1 has been reported, but no suspects or witnesses were located at the time of the incident. The case is closed.
Sept. 6
- A minor was caught in possession of alcohol in Rauch Hall at 9:36 p.m. The case was forwarded to the Office of Student Development for review and is closed.
- A $10 counterfeit bill was used in the Spellmann Cafeteria between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. The case is still open, and the St. Charles Police Department is investigating. St. Charles Police Lt. Tom Wilkison said the bill was passed during lunch time, but officers are unsure which register the bill was passed on. Director of Public Safety and Security John Bowman Jr., said the “feel of the paper” was different, and the bill was not found until the registers were being counted down for the day.
Sept. 7
- A person driving a red SUV hit someone with water balloons in the Parker Hall parking lot at 1:20 a.m. The case is closed.
- Two minors were caught in possession of alcohol in Flowers Hall at 9:04 a.m. Both cases were forwarded to the Office of Student Development for review and are closed.
- Four white males in a black SUV were reported on Sibley Road between 1 and 1:30 a.m. The SUV left the area, and the case is closed.
Sept. 8
- An unknown vehicle drove on the grassy area of the track area behind Evans Commons between midnight and 12:15 p.m. The case is closed.
- A person was caught urinating in public at 8:45 p.m. on Karen Street. Bowman said the person was at a party when security showed up. The case was forwarded to the Office of Student Development for review and is closed.
Sept. 9
- A basement window was damaged on Anneric Street at 12:15 a.m., and there was also a drug violation. The case was forwarded to the Office of Student Development for review and is closed.
- On Reynolds Street, two minors were caught in possession of alcohol at 8:15 p.m. Both cases were forwarded to the Office of Student Development for review and are closed.
- Seven minors were caught in possession of alcohol on Anneric Street at 9:30 p.m. All cases were forwarded to the Office of Student Development for review and are closed.
- No suspect information has been reported following an incident of property damage at 9:30 p.m. on Anneric Street. The case is closed.
