Ladies and gents, first impressions are important. If you’re going on a date, what you wear matters. It can ruin your chance for a second date, so be cautious of the message you’re sending out. What message are your clothes sending out? Are they saying: Want to be my friend? Let’s hook-up? Not interested?

Even if you didn’t, it should look like you put effort into what you wear on your first date. It’s important to know this: your wardrobe will not make or break the date, but it will enhance the direction of the date. If your date likes you, it will only help.  If they don’t like you, but you still look gorgeous, then you’ll know it’s their loss.

Don’t change how you dress, just dress to impress. If your date doesn’t like the way you dress-to-impress, then they aren’t for you.

Let’s look at some examples:

This look is cute and flirty. It’s lace, but not lingerie, where the lingerie will make  your date think all you want to do is hook-up. This look is not too revealing but it shows her curves. It says: “I’m looking for a serious relationship and you won’t be embarrassed with me on your arm.”

 If the date is casual, then consider this look. This is another way to be cute and flirty. If you like jeans, wear them, but make sure they show off your curves. Heels and jeans are a great combination. If you don’t wear heels, then please don’t decide to try on your first date. That could be dangerous.
