Relay for Life on July 13

On Friday July 13, Relay for Life will be coming to St. Peters. Lutheran High School will host the event, beginning at 6 p.m. Relay for Life’s goal is to help fundraiser money for the American Cancer Society in order to help pay for various projects to help cancer patients. In order to earn the money members of the community and participants can pledge money to certain teams or make donations.
Participants are made up of cancer survivors, friends, and family who have lost loved ones to cancer and anyone else willing to help the cause. Participants are broken up into 43 teams. At least one representative from each team will be running or walking on the track at all times for the next 12 hours. Games and fun activities will be held throughout the night.
