The organization hired to help search for a new Lindenwood president will send two representatives to campus Monday, Sept. 15, and Tuesday, Sept. 16, to meet with key groups.wk

According to President James Evans, whose retirement will be effective May 31, 2014, Witt/Kieffer will interview the following groups to learn “what we hope to find to be the ideal candidate.”

Evans will be interviewed, as well as the President’s Council, Faculty Council, Staff Council and Alumni Board. The Lindenwood Student Government Association is also scheduled to meet with the representatives.

“They will take what they learn from these meetings and combine it with the specifications given by the Board of Directors,” Evans said.

Evans said an informational ad should be released in October to make potential candidates aware of the position. Witt/Kieffer will narrow down the candidates to four to six candidates by February.
