Taste of St. Louis

Downtown St. Louis was a feast this past weekend. People swarmed onto Soldiers Memorial to get a Taste of St. Louis. From Friday, Sept. 28 to Sunday, Sept. 30, the event drew in a large crowd.

Although admission was free, the samples were not. Fortunately, the samples cost under $10. Portion size was much more generous than the samples you’ll find in a mall’s food court. There were foods ranging from ribs and shrimp to cupcakes and cheesecake.

For entertainment, the festival had appearances from artists such as Macy Gray, The All-American Rejects and Taj Mahal. There were also local artist who performed. Spectators that arrived early were provided with chairs.

According to the individuals , the food was delicious. There were 46 food booths. These are the 2012 Sauce Magazine’s Restaurant Row participants. There were also booths of art and wine.

Kid City was the designated area for kids, filled with educational activities and bounce houses. This section appealed to the entire family. As you can see below, families loved this place.
