A cappella group Voices Only will perform a reunion concert Saturday at the LUCC Auditorium.
The concert will consist of the current Voices Only members as well as alumni members performing a variety of songs in genres ranging from pop to folk, including songs such as “Blackbird” by the Beatles and “This Land is Your Land.”
Laura Schulze, senior and three-year member of the choir said, “We are super excited for this reunion concert, because we get to celebrate all that Voices Only has become in the last 10 years.”
Voices Only was formed in the fall of 2002 and is 12 years old. Director Pamela Grooms said the concert will be like “a family reunion.”
“When you have a small group that performs a lot, they become like a family,” she said.
Schulze is also excited for the reunion.
“I’ll get to see a lot of my friends from past seasons that are retired from the group,” Schulze said. “I will get to sing with them again, which will be really special.”
Offstage, Voices Only is “ambassadors to the community of music” through volunteering for the Red Cross, churches and events such as the Christmas tree lighting in St. Louis.
The reunion performance will be held at 7:30 p.m.
