Voters in both St. Louis City and County did not allow the gloom and rain to faze their spirits, but hurried to the polls to exercise their civil rights during closing hours for the polls. Volunteers and voters alike showed their stress in processing lines with strict discipline and speed, with use of both paper and computer ballots.
A major difference stood out in the City where no campaign supporters stood outside the polling places. In the County, multiple campaign supporters stood outside, providing voters with pamphlets and information.
All locations visited within the St. Louis area provided warm welcomes and steady processes of voters’ ballots.
