Students at Lindenwood University in St. Charles may have noticed the new security call boxes around campus. However, most students are unaware of the current active shooter plan set in place at the university.

The security protocols task force, is reviewing a proposal to update the plan of action in the case of an active shooter. Lindenwood’s Director of Security John Bowman says the committee is currently updating the plan, but nothing is final yet. Bowman says Lindenwood has already taken some steps to increase campus security.
