The Lions are currently on a losing streak after falling on its home court against USML Tuesday evening 3-0. On Thursday, the Lions travelled to McKendree for a Great Lakes Valle Conference match which resulted in a 1-3 loss. The Lions faced the University of Southern Indiana the next day, losing 1-3.
The Lions will try to find redemption as they travel to Indianapolis for the Midwest Crossover on Oct. 18.
The Lions finished third at the William Beall Fall classic in Findlay, Ohio, on Tuesday. The Lions finished the tournament with a score of 925 (+61). McKenna Montgomery shot par on 37 holes to lead the team. The Lions will host the Division ll National Preview at the Country Club of St. Albans.

The Lions tied with Missouri S&T 2-2 Friday evening at Hunter Stadium. Mia Corrigan, scored the first goal 77 seconds into the first half. On Sunday, the Lions rebounded to get the win against Maryville University 2-0. The win moves the Lions to 4-6-1 overall on the season and 3-5-1 in conference play.

The Lions travelled on Friday to encounter Iowa State and came out victorious on their two-weekend matches. The Lions took a 3-1 on Friday night at ISU’s arena. Lindenwood finished the first period scoreless, but Vegard Faret scored on a power play at the 11:51 mark in the second period. On Saturday night, the Lions won again 3-0 with goals from Faret, Victor Lombardi and Matt Runyon.
Lindenwood upset no. 24 Truman State University in the homecoming game on Saturday. The Lions were down 17 points with just 13 minutes left in the game. Quarterback Cade Brister completed a 21-yard touchdown pass to Payton Rose with 9:54 remaining. The Lions were then able to get the ball back without giving up any points. Brister led the Lions to an 11-play drive finishing with a touchdown by Eric Henneman cutting the deficit to three points. Lindenwood recovered the following onside kick. Henneman would then score the game-winning touchdown. The Lions advance to 3-3 on the season and face Saginaw University on Saturday at Hunter Stadium.
Senior Bridget Hoogendijk helped the Field Hockey team defeat Converse Colege 3-1 on Sunday at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium, and became the first Lion to record 100 goals in the program history.
