2. Stroll down Main Street at Pumpkin Glow
Friday, Oct. 25 | 1 p.m. – midnight | Historic Main Street of St. Charles
Make your Friday spook-tacular on Main Street! There will be plenty of deals, squeals and pumpkins as stores stay open late with scary good deals and the street will be illuminated with hundreds of eerie glowing pumpkins!
While you’re there, be sure to stop by Legends & Lanterns characters for chilling ghost stories and haunting encounters.
3. Roll on over to support the bowling team’s fundraiser against sexual assaults
Saturday, Oct. 25 | 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | St. Charles Lanes & Plaza Lanes
Both Lindenwood’s men’s and women’s bowling teams have partnered with Brenda Tracy’s #SetTheExpectation for their home tournament, Lions Classic. Their mission is to spread awareness for domestic violence and sexual assault. The teams will be selling ribbons at the tournament and all proceeds will go to the Bridgeway Women’s Center. Wear teal and purple to raise awareness for the cause.
The men’s team will be bowling at St. Charles Lanes and the women’s team will be bowling at Plaza Lanes.
4. Make your weekend bright at the Color Run and a free rugby tailgate
Saturday, Oct. 26 | 2:15 p.m. – 3 p.m. | Evans Commons Lawn
Your Saturday afternoon will surely be colorful at the Color Run presented by Campus Activities Board. Run around campus while being splattered with vivid powders of all sorts of colors. The first 100 participants will receive a free white t-shirt, drawstring bag, hat, and water bottle! Not a runner? No fear, the race is untimed.
Afterward, join CAB for the Men’s Rugby game tailgate from 3-4 p.m. There will be food, drinks, and games for all participants. Then fans will tunnel the team to the field for kick-off at 4 p.m. The men will be playing Iowa Central Community College.
5. Too many pumpkins? Never!
Sunday, Oct. 27 | 1 – 5 p.m. | 2nd Shift Brewing
There’s no such thing as too many pumpkins, that’s why you should take a trip into STL for the Pumpkin Popup Market! STL’s finest handmade artisans will be showcased. Shop the wide array of vintage clothing, jewelry, art skin care and more.
There will be plenty of food and vendors so you won’t leave empty handed or with an empty stomach!
