Renaissance Festival: Since 1999, Rotary Park of Wentzville, MO has hosted the Renaissance Festival. The park is transformed into a 16th-century French village called “Petite Lyon”. King Franscois graces the area, along with his majesties Queen Claude and Queen Katherine of Aragon. Live jousting, music, artisan craft vendors, themed food, and other period entertainment are held at the rendition and have drawn thousands of attendees each season.
Beale Street Concert: Since last May, the streets of St. Charles have held free outdoor concerts on the second Wednesday of each month. Although the final one will be this month, and on Oct. 8.
Frenchtown Sunset Market: On Thursday, October 9th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Frenchtown in downtown St. Charles will be hosting an evening market with food, drinks, live music, and farmers and vendors.
St. Charles Flea and Artisan Market: Since April 12th, every second Saturday of each month, the St. Charles City Hall has held their monthly flea and artisan market. On Saturday, October 11th, it will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
St. Charles Market – Pumpkin Festival: on Saturday, Oct. 18 & 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., local vendors will be sharing fresh produce and handmade goods at the St. Charles market on Main Street.
Blues games: On Thursday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m., the St. Louis Blues will be kicking off their season and home-opener against the Minnesota Wild. The Blues will have five other home games this month, taking on the historic rival Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 8:30 p.m.; the Dallas Stars Saturday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m.; the Los Angeles Kings Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m.; the Utah Mammoth Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.; the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7:15 p.m.; and the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.. Fright at the Museum: Running through Monday, Oct. 26, the St. Louis City Museum is transforming into a haunted wonderland with eerie displays across the floors, interactive exhibits, live performances, and seasonal activities to thrill both kids and adults. Halloween Nights at Grant’s Farm: With glowing trails and ghoulish displays, these Grant’s Farm after-dark experiences begin with a haunted tram ride and end in the tier garden. You can enjoy themed shows, scare zones, seasonal snacks, and a monster mash! These events last every night till Halloween, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Six Flags Fright Fest: All through the month and till the weekend of Nov. 1 & 2, Six Flags St. Louis of Eureka MO hosts its yearly Fright Fest. From themed scare zones with costumed performers, haunted mazes, to live shows with horror themes, and all of the park being decorated for Halloween. In addition to Six Flags’ already many rides, the events offer many festivities for you to avail yourself in for the Halloween season. Friday hours are from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday hours are from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday hours are from noon to 9 p.m. Tickets can be bought here:

Lindenwood Dark Carnival: On Friday, Oct. 17, Lindenwood University will be hosting its annual Dark Carnival from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The annual Halloween festival features family-friendly activities, including a haunted house, trunk or treat with candy and crafts, carnival rides, games, and live entertainment.
Pirates & Pumpkins at the St. Louis aquarium: All month, Sunday – Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Pirates & Pumpkins at the St. Louis aquarium event features artistic pumpkin carving demonstrations; carving classes; award-winning pumpkins displayed; and trick-or-treating. This is the third year the events have been held.
Legends and lanterns: In Main Street, St. Charles, MO, starting Oct. 11, every weekend for the rest of the month will host Legends and Lanterns. Saturday, Oct. 11 & 18 will feature the event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., whereas Saturday, Oct. 25th will feature the event from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. All of the Sundays will feature Legends & Lanterns from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 will also be holding Legends & Lanterns, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Legends and Lanterns takes a journey through Halloween’s history, and offers guests of all ages a unique celebration of All Hallow’s Eve with historical exhibits, memorable character interactions, and frightfully fun experiences. This is the 10th year St. Charles has hosted the event.
Pumpkin Glow: In conjunction with Legends & Lanterns, Main Street St. Charles will also be hosting the Pumpkin Glow. The Pumpkin Glow will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25. Merchants on Historic Main Street decorate their fronts with hundreds of carved, illuminated pumpkins for visitors to enjoy, offering extended hours and late-night shopping opportunities. Legends & Lanterns characters are still amidst for ghostly tales, creating a festive and enchanted fall atmosphere.
Jack O’Lantern Trail in Faust Park: On Friday, Oct. 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Faust Park will be letting you trick or treat your way through Faust Historic Village; allow you to take a ride on the St. Louis Carousel; and visit the Sophia Sachs Butterfly House. Reservations in advance are required, and admission is $12.00 for everyone over age two.
Trick or Treat on Main Street: On Friday, Oct. 31, Halloween, Main Street St. Charles will host trick or treating for costumed children ages 12 and under, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event is sponsored by the businesses on Main Street and the Greater Saint Charles Convention & Visitor Bureau.
