The Lindenwood men’s soccer team came out strong in the season’s home opener on Sept. 10. Aris Nukis and Andre Hayne scored the two goals of the night for the Lions in the first half, both goals less than a minute a part. The Maryville Saints left the first half scoreless.
In the second half Maryville was unable to answer Lindenwood’s two points and was defeated 2-0.
Lindnewood improves to 3-0-0.
