Here are the Lindenwood sporting events on campus Oct. 17 – Oct. 22. Students can earn points by checking into events on the Lindenwood Lion Pride app. Points can then be redeemed for prizes, including free Under Armour shoes and Papa John’s pizza. The app is available for free download on Apple’s App Store and the Google Play store.

WOMEN’S GOLF HOSTS THE FALL INVITATIONAL

Women’s golf welcomes UMSL, Augustana University, Central Oklahoma, Central Missouri, Nebraska-Kearney, Northwest Missouri, Minnesota State, Fort Hays State, Concordia St. Paul, St. Cloud State, Sioux Falls and Upper Iowa to the Missouri Bluffs Golf Course for its Fall Invitational.

Women’s volleyball (14-9) returns to action this weekend when it takes on No. 10 Central Oklahoma (21-2) on Friday and Pittsburg State on Saturday (3-18). Prior to their loss to No. 8 Nebraska-Kearney (20-2) on Oct. 14, the Lions had won six straight games.

The Lions have been led on the season on offense by senior Emily Wylie. Wylie has recorded 232 kills on the season, four more than last year’s leading hitter.
