Welcome back, Lions! Here are five things to do this week on Lindenwood’s campus and around the greater St. Louis area to kick off the spring semester. 

1. Join Campus Activities Board with their Welcome Back Week festivities. 

Campus Activities Board is hosting events throughout the week to welcome students back to campus. A full list of events can be found below:

  • Monday, Jan. 8 – Potato Party
    • 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
    • Outside of Spellmann Dining Hall
  • Tuesday, Jan. 9 – Skating With CAB ’80s Party
    • 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
    • Evans Commons Multipurpose Courts 
  • Wednesday, Jan. 10 – CAB’s Trivia Night
    • 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. 
    • Evans Commons Dining Hall
  • Thursday, Jan. 11 – Warm Up With CAB (Free hot chocolate!)
    • 8:45 a.m. – 11 a.m.
    • Spellmann Clock Tower and Harmon Hall Parking Lot
  • Friday, Jan. 12 – Fondue Friday
    • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
    • Outside of Spellmann Dining Hall

2. Cheer on your fellow Lions at a home game.

  • Women’s hockey
    • Friday, Jan. 12 – Lindenwood vs Penn State
      • 6 p.m. at the Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville
    • Saturday, Jan. 13 – Lindenwood vs Penn State

3. Get involved on campus with Lindenwood Student Government.

The best way to voice your opinion regarding campus issues is to attend Lindenwood Student Government’s general assembly meetings. The first meeting is this Wednesday and will occur twice a month through April. For more information on Lindenwood Student Government, check Involve U.

4. Dine to donate for Five Acres Animal Shelter at Texas Roadhouse.  
Thursday, Jan. 11
3:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
1300 Bass Pro Dr, St. Charles, Missouri

Dine in at Texas Roadhouse in St. Charles and 10 percent of your bill will be donated to Five Acres Animal Shelter. Show a physical or digital copy of the flyer to your server to have the fundraiser apply. Click here for more details.

5. Remember to leave your dorm and go to classes!

Spring semester has begun, so don’t forget to get to your classes on time. Check Canvas and your student portal for your schedule.
