Concerts coming to St. Louis this week

Looking for something to do? How about a concert?

Concert season is still in full swing, as a few big names such as Logic and Rascal Flatts will be making appearances in St. Louis this week.

1. The Summer Slaughter Tour
Wednesday, Aug. 1
2 p.m.
Pops (Sauget, Illinois)

Doors for this show open at 2 p.m. because of the nine band lineup. In order as listed on the ticketing page, the bands are: Between the Buried and Me, Born of Osiris, Veil of Maya, Erra, The Agony Scene, Allegaeon, Terror Universal, Soreption and Entheos.

Tickets are $29.50 if purchased in advance or $35 at the door and can be purchased online through TicketWeb or in person at the venue. There is a 10 ticket limit per transaction and a $2 minor surcharge.

2. Greta Van Fleet
Wednesday, Aug. 1
8 p.m.
The Pageant

These four young musicians have been a band since 2017 and have a mission to spread “peace, love and unity” according to the band’s official Spotify page. Greta Van Fleet is made up of twin brothers, a younger brother and a long-time family friend. One of the band’s most popular songs is “Highway Tune” which has over 24 million streams on Spotify.

Tickets for this event are sold out, but resale tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster and StubHub. Prices on these websites may be higher than the original face value of the tickets.

3. Logic Presents: Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody Tour with NF and Kyle

Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre

Before signing with Def Jam Records, Logic had started his career by uploading his own music and mixtapes but is well-known for the song he released in partnership with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, “1-800-273-8255,” which is also the phone number to the lifeline. On the day of the song’s release, April 28 of last year, the lifeline reported that it had received over 4,500 calls, according to Billboard.

Tickets for general admission lawn seating are $25 or $18.50 if purchased in bundles of four and tickets for reserved seating begin at $25 and can be purchased online through Live Nation or through the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre box office. Box office hours can be found on the event page.

4. 99.1 JOYFEST Presents Sidewalk Prophets, Crowder and more
Saturday, Aug. 4
5 p.m.
Chaifetz Arena

Radio station 99.1 JOY FM sponsors this four-artist lineup. All of the acts playing are Sidewalk Prophets, Crowder, Citizen Way and Colton Dixon.

Tickets begin at $16.50 and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster or through the Chaifetz Arena box office. Hours for the box office can be found on the event page

5. Rascal Flatts: Back to Us Tour
Saturday, Aug. 4
7:30 p.m.
Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre

Going on tour in support of their 2017 album “Back To Us,” country group Rascal Flatts prove to still be going strong. Some of the group’s most popular songs include “I Like The Sound of That,” which has over 85 million streams on Spotify, and “What Hurts The Most” with over 80 million streams.

Tickets for both general admission lawn and select reserved seating are $33.75 or $19.75 if purchased in bundles of four and can be purchased online through Live Nation or through the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre box office. Box office hours can be found on the event page.

6. Lazer Lloyd
Saturday, Aug. 4
8:30 p.m.
Duck Room at Blueberry Hill

Lazer Lloyd‘s music is mixed with “Americana roots, folk rock, outlaw country, blues and psychedelic spice.” His newest single “Backstreets,” has over 690,000 streams on Spotify.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster or in person at the venue. All tickets purchased in person with cash will be discounted to face value. There is a $2 minor surcharge.
