Sick of looking at four walls? Here are five reasons to leave your dorm this weekend.

It’s important to remember to take some time for yourself and do something fun! Grab your friends and head out to one of these events happening this week.

1. The Improv Shop Open Mic 
Monday, Sept. 17 
8:15 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
The Improv Shop

Head out to this weekly event designed to give local artists, comedians, improvisers and musicians a chance to show off their talent and practice in front of a crowd. Admission is free.

2. Music on Main 
Wednesday, Sept. 19
5 p.m – 7:30 p.m.
N. Main Street

Enjoy some live, outdoor music by Rogers & Nienhaus on Main Street. Bring your lawn chairs, sit back and relax at this free concert. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

3. Free Summer Yoga Series 
Wednesday, Sept. 19.
6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Ballpark Village

Get your yoga on with a free yoga session at Ballpark Village. Don’t worry, all ages and experience levels are welcome so be sure to check it out and find your inner yogi. 

4. Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival 
Friday, Sept. 21 – Sunday, Sept. 23
Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Soulard Market Park

Check out the largest Latin festival in St. Louis this weekend for great food, drinks and dancing. There also will be folk art, booths, cultural organizations, a petting zoo and a mechanical bull. Admission is free, and the event is family-friendly. 

5. Outdoor Summer Movie Series and Food Truck Frolic 
Friday, Sept. 21
5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
St. Charles Community College 

Grab your blankets, chairs and favorite snacks and head over to St. Charles Community College for a free viewing of “Incredibles 2.” Free popcorn will be provided. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
