The theater department will test-fire a prop firearm inside of the Emerson Black Box Theater on Friday morning, according to an email sent out to faculty and staff.

The test, which will take place around 8:30 a.m., is a part of the pre-production process for “All My Sons.” According to the email, the theater department wants to find the ideal location to fire the prop during the performance.

“All My Sons” will be performed at the Emerson Black Box Theater on Oct. 5-6 and Oct. 11-13. All showtimes are at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are available now, which are free for students and $10 for the general public.
