Burglary reported on Droste Road on Monday afternoon

A burglary was reported on Droste Road around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a timely warning sent out by the university.

The suspect, described as being a white man in his 50s or 60s, standing at 5’10 and weighing 185 pounds, was missing several teeth and wearing blue jeans with a blue fishing shirt.

According to the timely warning, Public Safety and Security were notified of the suspect being inside the reporting party’s home.

Before the suspect left the residence, he asked the reporting party about a vehicle that was in the parking lot.

The St. Charles Police Department was notified and are currently investigating the incident, but anyone with information is encouraged to call Public Safety and Security at 636-949-4911 or the St. Charles Police Department at 636-949-3300.
