Current LU students and alumni will get a chance to enjoy breakfast with Michael Shonrock, the recently appointed president of LU. The meal is set for 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 in the Anheuser-Busch Leadership Room in the Spellmann Center.
Shonrock said he is looking forward to meeting students and alumni alike.
This is Shonrock’s first year as president of Lindenwood, however, this is not his first time experiencing LU’s homecoming.
This breakfast is free and open to anyone affiliated to Lindenwood. The buffet-style breakfast will include items such as eggs, bacon, yogurt, bagels, pastries, coffee and tea.
A total of 64 alumni attended the same meal last year, and Elizabeth Wikoff, director of Alumni Relations, said she expects to see the same amount, if not more to attend this year.
After breakfast, the alumni will stay for the annual Alumni Association meeting where they will vote on Alumni Board members whose terms are expiring.
