Santa Claus returns to Lindenwood for the annual Christmas Walk on Nov. 29.
Started in 1983 by President James Spainhower, the Christmas Walk has grown over the years and is attended by students and members of the community.
Michelle Giessman, the interim director of Alumni Relations, organizes the event every year.
“It has occurred annually, except for a few years in the early 2000’s when the students’ finals schedule interfered with the scheduling,” Giessman said.“It is one tradition that really brings the St. Charles and Lindenwood communities together. I know how great our students are and how pretty this campus is, and I want St. Charles residents to see it the same way.”
Diverse activities will be offered on old campus, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“There will be a cool free gift this year for all students who attend…but that’s a secret,” Giessman said.
