To kick off the spring semester, Lindenwood University’s Campus Activities Board has announced via The Weekly Roar that they’ll be hosting events for Welcome Back Week between Jan. 25-30. With the intent to make students feel comfortable and welcomed back, the events hosted are of a wide variety.
Multicultural Monday: At 5 p.m., students can experience food from all around the world at the Evans Commons Dining Hall.
Tropical Tuesday: Fresh fruit will be featured at the Evans Commons at 11 a.m.
Warm up Wednesday: High chocolate will be available at the Evans Commons at 11 a.m. to warm up students’ morning.
The Ballroom Thieves Thursday: The well-traveled band will provide live music on display in the Butler Loft from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Fired up Friday: Fort Hayes State will be coming to Lindenwood to take on the wrestling team. During the event, students can take on their friends in a quick arm wrestle, winning a “special prize” if they come out victorious. The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Hyland Arena.
Saturday Scarves: To wrap up the week of events, some DIY scarf arm knitting will occur in the Evans Commons Multipurpose from 5 to 7 p.m. All materials will be provided.
