While the polls closed at 7 p.m. across the state, the race on both sides of the ballot remained neck-and-neck throughout the night. The winners were officially announced at 11:56 p.m.
Trump earned 40.8 percent of the vote to win the state, while Clinton secured 49.6 percent.
