It’s a night dedicated to showcasing Lindenwood communications students’ hard work and creativity. From digital cinema arts to advertising, the 11th annual Lindy Awards will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the J. Scheidegger Center.
Each year, students in the university’s School of Communications submit their work to outside judges who critique it and select the best entry in each category. Sixty-one categories are included in this year’s competition.
In addition to students, there are categories for faculty, alumni and high school students outside the university.
The Alumni of the year award is also presented at the ceremony. This year, Ron Watermon, the vice president of communications for the St. Louis Cardinals, will receive the award.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on LUTV.
