1. Spotlight | Sept. 30 | 7 p.m.
Head over to the Young Auditorium to watch the award winning film that follows the Boston Globe‘s investigation into the child abuse within the Catholic church. This film stars Mark Ruffalo and has won several academy awards.
2. LSU’s Game Night | Sept. 30 | 7 p.m.
The Lutheran Student Union invites students to join them in The Upper Room for a fun-filled night of playing games, eating pizza and enjoying friends. Refreshments will be provided as will games from puzzles to strategy games.
3. The Passion of Joan of Arc | Sept. 30 | 7 p.m.
The Lindenwood Theater will be showing the silent film Joan of Arc featuring a live accompaniment from the Lindenwood Orchestra. This film follows Jeanne d’Arc during her heresy trial with officials trying to convince her to take back her statements about her holy visions.
4. Ace In the Hole | Oct. 1 | 7 p.m.
The Saturday installment of the film series at Young Auditorium will feature Ace In the Hole, a story of a journalist who moves from the big city to a small town. While trying to exploit a story to re-gain his fame, the situation spirals out of control.
5. Drunk Driving Awareness and Stimulation Challenge | Oct. 2 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
CAB will be hosting a fun-filled afternoon in the Evans Atrium to raise awareness and educate people about the dangers of drunk driving. Stop by anytime during lunch to take part in a fun event and maybe learn some safety tips.
