With the start of fall semester less than a week away, students will have new options for getting to campus from St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
Traditional taxi and car services will be joined by Uber and Lyft for curbside airport pick-up.
Jeffrey Lea, public relations manager for Lambert, confirmed that both ride-hailing services began operating this week.
A bill approved by the Missouri legislature earlier this year paved the way for the new transportation companies to more easily operate statewide.
Uber and Lyft will have designated curbside pick-up locations from both terminals.
Fare estimates from airport to campus
- uberX – $20-27
- uberXL (for large groups) – $30-39
- Lyft (up to four passengers) – $21.43
- Lyft Plus (up to six passengers – $32
- STL Taxi – $24.45
