If you’re looking for something to do this week outside of class, here are five ideas for things to do on campus or in the St. Charles area.
1. Rent a bike for free and ride down the Katy Trail.

Trail Head in Augusta offers free bike rentals after 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, and you can take the bike down the Katy Trail. Food and music will start at 5:30 p.m. right next door at Augusta Brew Haus. For more information, call 314-223-3423.
2. Go see a $5 movie at Mid Rivers Cine.

3. Hang out with your friends at the “Illuminite” event in Frontier Park.

4. See the Kenny Loggins concert on campus.

Lindenwood Theater, the J. Scheidegger Center

Grammy award-winning artist Kenny Loggins performs at the J. Scheidegger Center on Saturday. His famous songs, “Footloose” and “Danger Zone” are going to fill the Lindenwood Theater starting 8 p.m. The box office will offer student rush tickets as first come, first served. 5. Celebrate at Loufest this weekend.
Sept. 9-10, all day
Tickets: A one-day general admission from $60, a two-day general admission from $95. These prices do not include the fees.
The annual two-day music festival fills Forest Park with music lovers this weekend. Some of the big names in the lineup this year include Weezer, Snoop Dogg and Cage the Elephant.
