St. Charles police were called late Saturday night regarding a fight that broke out during a wedding on historic Main Street.
Police told KMOV that six suspects have been identified as well as two victims. However, no arrests have been made.
The brawl was caught on video by a bystander with a cellphone.
UPDATE 11:26 a.m. Sept. 7
“It’s our understanding that there were some words exchanged and some inadvertent pushing and shoving that I think one of the parties took the wrong way,” Lt. Police Info Officer Chad Fisk said. “That ignited a disturbance, and the disturbance continued onto the sidewalk.”
Fisk said it was reported that a beer bottle was thrown during the altercation, but this has not been verified.
The two victims were hospitalized. Their statuses are unknown at the moment. Fisk said he expects the individuals to press charges.
