The world famous Cirque du Soleil is performing in St. Charles this Saturday and Sunday.
The cast of acrobats and dancers are scheduled to perform the show, “Crystal,” on ice at the Family Arena.
This performance marks the groups first show on ice, according to the groups website. The Cirque du Soleil will be telling the story of a character, named Crystal, through acrobatics and skating as she explores her own imagination and becomes confident, liberated and empowered.
The Canadian group, which names translates to “Circus of the Sun,” will be performing “Crystal” in cities across the U.S. and Canada through May, 2017.
Shows on Saturday will be at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m and 5 p.m.
Tickets for the show are on sale starting at $30 and can be purchased online or in person at the Family Arena boxoffice.
