Q: How long have you been playing sports competitively?
A: “I started playing sports when I was 6 or 7 years old. Water polo when I was 10 for the local water polo club.”
Q: What was the greatest moment in your sports career so far?
A: “The greatest moment was winning the third national title for Lindenwood because we achieved something that hasn’t been done before. Many teams won the competition back-to-back, but never three times in a row.”
Q: What are your game-day routines/superstitions?
A: “Being positive and trying to stay away the stress of the game is very important to me. In the past I’ve done things like listening to music, but now I’m playing the different game situation scenarios in my head and preparing for the game that way.”
Q: What is your sports fantasy?
A: “Winning the national title was the sports fantasy — we achieved that. The next level would be playing in the Olympics.”
Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: “I am my favorite athlete in the future. I know it sounds weird, but only by working on yourself can you actually become better, and that’s who I want to be.”
