Here are the Lindenwood sporting events on campus Nov. 28 – Dec. 3. Students can earn points by checking into events on the Lindenwood Lion Pride app. Points can then be redeemed for prizes, including free Under Armour shoes and Papa John’s pizza. The women’s basketball team (5-0) will be looking to extend their undefeated start to the season when they face McKendree and Central Christian this week. The Lions have been led by forward Kallie Bildner. Bildner is currently averaging 21.4 points a game to go along with 14.4 rebounds. Most impressive about Bildner’s stats is her efficiency shooting. The 6-foot-4-inch sophomore is currently shooting 50 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from the three point line and 89.2 percent from the free throw stripe.

MEN’S BASKETBALL VS ECCLESIA

The men’s basketball team (4-1) will face Beloit (1-2) and Ecclesia (0-8) this week. Beloit is an NCAA Division III program whilst Ecclesia is a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) team. Lindenwood should face no problem in dispatching both teams handily. The Lions are coming off a big 86-61 win over Hannibal-La Grange in their last outing. Chandler Diekvoss currently leads the team with 17.8 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Diekvoss is also shooting a team-high 57.1 percent from the floor.

The men’s ice hockey team will take on Grand Valley State on back to back nights this weekend. The Lions will be looking to continuing their winning ways as they have not lost since Nov. 1.
