The St. Charles Police Department is investigating an alleged sexual assault on Lindenwood’s St. Charles campus, according to an email sent out by John Bowman, Lindenwood’s director of Public Safety.
The incident is reported to have happened at approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18. The email did not provide a specific location, however the police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in the 300 block of Droste road, according to Lt. Tom Wilkison of the St. Charles Police Department. That block of Droste road is men’s housing.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday morning, according to Wilkison.
The suspect, who is known to the victim, is described as a 24-year-old black male. Both the suspect and the victim are students at Lindenwood, according to Bowman.

- An alleged sexual assault in student housing around 1:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving was reported.
- An alleged sexual assault in men’s housing in the early morning hours of Dec. 15 was reported.
