St. Charles City Police are investigating after a Lindenwood student reported that a man was exposing himself and filming a group of female students while they sunbathed, according to an incident bulletin sent out by the university.
According to Lieutenant Thomas Wilkison of the St. Charles Police Department, the suspect was spotted by the student in a grassy area near Patma Street in the Linden Terrace housing area.
The women who were sunbathing were unaware of what was going on until members of the Public Safety and Security staff had arrived, according to one of the women who declined to be named.
According to the email sent out by Paula Stewart, Public Safety and Security was notified at 2 p.m. of a male exposing himself to a group of students who were outside sunbathing. The man was also videotaping the students, according to the bulletin.
The man fled the scene before he could be confronted.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall white male, between 20-30 years old, with a dark beard. He was reported to be wearing light-colored cotton shorts, a light T-shirt and a white hat.
