1. Madison Beer on the “As She Pleases” Tour

After rising to fame through a tweet from Justin Bieber saying how good of a singer she was for only being 13 years old, now 19-year-old Madison Beer is heading out on tour to support her debut album “As She Pleases.”
Tickets are $23.50 and can be purchased at Suite 100 at The Pageant or through Ticketmaster. If purchased in person with cash at Suite 100, tickets will be discounted to face value. Box office hours can be found on The Pageant’s website. There is a $2 minor surcharge.
2. SiriusXM Presents Todd Rundgren’s Utopia
Wednesday, May 9

Peabody Opera House
According to music website Ultimate Classic Rock, Todd Rundgren will reunite with members of his band, Utopia, for a tour that lasts until June. The members joining him are bassist Kasim Sulton, drummer Willie Wilcox and keyboardist Ralph Schukett.

3. The Suffers
Thursday, May 10

Duck Room at Blueberry Hill
According to the band’s website, The Suffers started to gain popularity with its 2015 EP “Make Some Room,” and again in 2016 with a “self-titled debut.”
Tickets are $12.50 if purchased in advance or $15 at the door and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster or in person at the venue. All tickets purchased in person with cash will be discounted to face value. There is a $2 minor surcharge.
4. Trevor Noah

Peabody Opera House
Widely known from “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah has claimed success all around the world. According to his website, he is the most successful comedian in Africa.

5. Jimmy Eat World
Friday, May 11

The Pageant
According to Spotify, the band used to be wildly popular in the mid-90s, but found its way back to fame with “The Middle.”

6. Pointfest presented by 105.7 The Point

Hollywood Casino Amphitheater

7. Daryl Hall & John Oates and Train

Scottrade Center
According to Rolling Stone, Hall & Oates will each perform their own separate set before coming together for a joined one. The pair has not released a project since 2006. Train released its 10th studio album in 2017 called “a girl a bottle a boat,” and is known for songs such as “Hey, Soul Sister” and “50 Ways To Say Goodbye.”

8. Memphis May Fire

Pops (Sauget, Illinois)
“Unconditional” was #1 on Billboard’s Rock, Independent and Hard Rock Music charts, according to AXS. The band’s 2012 album, “Challenger,” was the highest-selling album debut for the band’s record label, Rise Records.

9. Basement & Citizen

Delmar Hall
The bands are co-headlining the tour. Basement, a hard-core punk band from England, released an album in 2017 called “Promise Everything,” and emo-pop group Citizen also released an album in 2017 called “As You Please.”
