Artists such as Charlie Puth, G-EAZY, Sleeping with Sirens and many more will be rolling through St. Louis this week.
1. Alkaline Trio
Monday, Aug. 6

The Pageant
Blink-182 guitarist Matt Skiba took a break from Alkaline Trio in 2015 during the recording of Blink’s seventh album “California,” but returned to Alkaline Trio in 2017. The band’s latest release is a single titled “Blackbird,” which debuted in July of this year.

2. 2018 Honda Civic Tour presents: Charlie Puth’s Voicenotes Tour

Best known for songs like “Attention” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” which have over 700 million streams on Spotify, Charlie Puth is hitting the road with Hailee Steinfeld in support of his new album “Voicenote,” which features artists like Kehlani and Boyz II Men.
Steinfeld’s most popular songs include “Starving,” “Let Me Go,” and “Love Myself,” which have over 300 million streams on Spotify.

3. Sleeping with Sirens: Chill Out Summer Acoustic Tour

Originating from Orlando, Florida, Sleeping with Sirens is taking it easy this tour by playing songs acoustically. The band was named the artist of the year in 2014 at the Alternative Press Music Awards and the band’s song “Kick Me,” which has over 28 million streams on Spotify, won song of the year in 2015.
Tickets are $22 if purchased in advance or $25 at the doors and can be purchased online through Ticketfly. There is a $2 minor surcharge.
4. Breaking Benjamin and Five Finger Death Punch

Breaking Benjamin became one of the most popular rock bands in the U.S, landing the number one spot on the charts with its song “Breath” in 2007. The band topped the Billboard 200 chart with the 2015 release of “Dark Before Dawn.”
Since 2007, Five Finger Death Punch has had six consecutive RIAA Gold-certified albums, three of which have gone platinum and have been one of the top rock bands to earn over 2 billion global streams. The band released a 13 song album earlier this year titled “And Justice For None.”

5. Manchester Orchestra

Indie rock group Manchester Orchestra got its start with songs that lead singer Andy Hull had written while in high school. The band has over 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and its most popular song to date is “I Can Feel a Hot One,” which has over 12 million streams.

6. Slayer

This show has an early start of 4:30 because of the additional four bands that are playing, which are: Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament and Napalm Death. Slayer, the headlining band, was one of the most influential and “extreme thrash metal bands” of the ’80s. The band’s most popular song to date is “Raining Blood,” which has over 46 million streams on Spotify.

7. AMERICAN IDOL: LIVE! 2018

American Idol is coming live to stage with the 2018 season’s winner plus the Top 7. Season 8 winner Kris Allen will also be performing. Allen’s most popular song to date is “Live Like We’re Dying,” which has over 10 million streams on Spotify.

8. El Monstero: Monsters and Mummies

El Monstero is a Pink Floyd tribute band based in St. Louis. The band’s Facebook page claims that fans must “experience” the band live in order to get a full taste.
Here Come the Mummies is a band that is, quite literally, dressed as mummies while performing on stage. The band has eight members and are classified as funk rock. To date, the band’s most popular song is “Pants,” which has over 600,000 streams on Spotify.

9. Joe Rogan: Strange Times 2018 Tour

Best known for his role as the host of the exciting reality show, “Fear Factor,” Joe Rogan is also a standup comedian. His persona shifts into the “angrier territories” of Sam Kinison and Bill Hicks.

10. G-EAZY – The Endless Summer Tour

The lineup for this event includes G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla $ign, YBN Nahmir, P-Lo and Murda Beatz. G-Eazy, the headliner, can be most-recognized from his song with Halsey, titled “Him and I,” which has over 320 million streams on Spotify.
