As students funnel back into their dorms in anticipation for an exciting school year, a lot of downtime will be spent streaming shows or movies on Netflix.
This month, Netflix will be releasing big titles like Marvel’s “Black Panther,” featuring Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong’o Nakia. Netflix’s audience can also look forward to heartwarming and light titles like “Lilo and Stitch” and “The Breakfast Club.”
One noteworthy title that is coming to Netflix features Jim Carrey in “Bruce Almighty.” In this light comedy, Carrey is visited by God (Morgan Freeman) and given god-like powers. According to Box Office Mojo, Bruce Almighty brought in a total of approximately $242 million at the box office in 2003 when it was released.
Every month, Netflix parts ways with different titles as their contract expires. This month, big titles such as “13 Going on 30” and “The Dark Knight” will be leaving.
