Hispanic Festival Inc., a company made up solely from volunteers organized the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival in Soulard Park from Sept. 21-23, 2018.
The festival featured over 70 booths, some traveling as far as from Mexico to sell their goods and food. Traditional dancing, a car show and concerts sung in Spanish filled the weekend and attracted thousands of people from the community.
LUTV Reporter Kayla Drake went to the festival to find out why this event is important in the local Latino community.
Hispanic Festival Inc. also hosts Dia de los Muertos and other latino festivals in St. Louis.
