In need of a break during the two busy school days prior to Thanksgiving? Maybe you’re not traveling home, already celebrated, or don’t celebrate at all? Don’t fret, because we have five things to get you up and out of your dorm. Check out what’s happening around campus, the St. Charles community, and St. Louis area this week.
1.) Men’s Basketball vs. Missouri Baptist

Start off your week by cheering on Lindenwood men’s basketball as they face Missouri Baptist. Grab some fresh popcorn, a cold soda, and a seat on the bleachers, while you watch the Lions shoot some hoops.
2.) Gardenland and Holiday Show Express

Missouri Botanical Garden
Looking for a unique outing? Invite a friend to tag along to view some beautiful flower displays, while learning some history of the garden. Admission is $5 per each guest.
3.) The Soulful, Saxy Sounds of Jeanette Harris

Make the most of your night of break and enjoy some live music. Head on over to .ZACK, off Locust Ave. with some friends, and listen to some jazz.

Not celebrating Thanksgiving or traveling home for the holiday? Maybe you want to kick off the Christmas season a bit early this year? If so, head over to the Anheuser- Busch Brewery and enjoy some amazing light displays. Admission is completely free.
5.) Christmas Traditions Opening Day
Friday, Nov. 23

Frontier Park
Ignite your holiday spirit by attending the Christmas Traditions Opening Day. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance during a day filled with Christmas inspired activities.
