KELSEY GROSS | Special to Lindenlink
The annual Christmas Walk will light up the heritage side of Lindenwood’s St. Charles campus on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 4-7 p.m.
Every year, students and faculty are invited welcome the holiday season.
The pavilion is decorated with lights, street lights are wrapped in garland, and hundreds of luminaries line the walkways on campus.
This year, the event is being planned by Student Involvement for the first time.
Ethan Miller, coordinator of business and facilities in the Student Involvement Office, is one of the people planning this festive event along with fellow Student Involvement coordinator Rachael Heuermann.
“It’s an event set up for the community, alumni and current students to come and enjoy,” Miller said. “There are a variety of booths and the opportunity to meet Santa. We will also have a reindeer, Mrs. Claus reading to children, cookie decorating, hot chocolate, s’mores, Christmas karaoke, make your own cookie mix, picture booths, yard games and much more.”
Student organizations will have the opportunity to host a booth with activities or can volunteer the day of the event.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering, hosting a booth or would like more information about the Christmas Walk, can visit InvolveU to sign up or contact Miller at [email protected].
