Senior associate athletic director dies at 66

Kathleen Kinkeade, senior associate athletic director for business operations and human resources at Lindenwood, died on Dec. 1 at 66 years old.
An email was sent out to faculty and staff members from Lindenwood’s public relations on Friday afternoon to notify of Kinkeade’s passing.
“Kathy was a well-loved member of our athletics community during her five years of service, and was known for her attention to detail, can-do attitude, and passion for the wellbeing of our students. She will be greatly missed by all,” the email read.
Lindenwood has not released details of her death.
The email also listed Candace Terry, director of employee benefits, as a contact for employees seeking grief counseling.
Before Kinkeade was the senior associate athletic director at Lindenwood, she was the Vice President of Operations for Sporting News Publications.
Kinkeade is survived by her husband Donald Kinkeade of Lake St. Louis; two sons, Aaron Kinkeade of Chicago, IL and Zachary Kinkeade and wife, Amanda of Los Angeles, CA, according to her obituary.
