Rec Hall STL will be hosting their second 0.5K “Underachiever’s Run” tomorrow afternoon.

“The goal, as with all our events, is have a great time!” Events and Sales Manager Kate Nelson said. “Our Underachiever’s Run is a silly play off of marathons.”

The Run, if you can call it a run, will start at 1 p.m. with a pre-party before the event, starting at 12 p.m. The event is on a set route around the block between Raymond Drive, Droste Road, and Duchesne Drive.

“This may have to be modified tomorrow due to the chance of rain, but we will still be underachieving, rain or shine!” Nelson explained.

The mock-marathon is for the “ages 21 and up” crowd, and has approximately 100 participants already signed up, which Nelson assures there is plenty of room for more.

“We have more people signed up for this one than we did for our first one,” Nelson announced in an e-mail.

The registration for the event is a $10 entry fee. The ticket will cover: a slice of pizza, Rec Hall fanny packet with goodies/swag, race bib, finisher “medal,” donuts, champagne, drink specials, and access for the event.

For more information on signing up, check out the Rec Hall STL website.
