Campus events to look forward to: December edition

Every semester, Lindenwood makes sure that students have many opportunities to stay involved, have fun, and attend events where they can meet new people and enjoy college life to the fullest.
This month, some of those events include the CRU Christmas party, Winterfest, and Late Night Breakfast.
Here are some of the events to look forward to in December:
1. CRU Christmas Party
Date: Dec. 2, 6-8 p.m.
Location: Spellmann 4080
CRU will be hosting a themed “Ugly Christmas Sweater Party” on Thursday. There will be holiday games, trivia, karaoke, and other activities.
2. Fraternity and Sorority Life Winter Ball
Date: Dec. 2, 7-11 p.m.
Location: All Occasions Banquet Center
The FSL Winter Ball is an annual event held to celebrate Lindenwood University’s fraternity and sorority life community.
3. Warm Up with Campus Activities Board
Date: Dec. 4, 12-2 p.m.
Location: Spellmann AB Leadership Room
CAB will be hosting a “Warm Up with CAB” event where students can meet new people, get hot chocolate, and a free beanie.
4. Winterfest 2021
Date: Dec. 5, 4:30-8 p.m.
Location: Heritage Campus
Winterfest (formerly Christmas Walk) is Lindenwood University’s annual celebration help on the historic side of campus. There will be more than 3,000 luminaries, hot chocolate, s’mores, cookies decorating, as well as Santa who will be taking holiday wishes. Admission is free for all.
5. Treehuggers First Meeting
Date: Dec. 6, 4-5 p.m.
Location: Spellmann AB Leadership Room
Treehuggers is a new organization at Lindenwood University that will hold its first meeting. Treehuggers will discuss how to make an impact on sustainability at the university.
6. Late Night Breakfast
Date: Dec. 6-7, 10 p.m.-12 a.m.
Location: Spellmann Dining Hall
During the most important and stressful week of the semester, it’s important to take breaks and relax. CAB will be hosting a Late Night Breakfast event where students will be able to enjoy some food, games, music, and win prizes.
7. Christmas Crafts with the Catholic Student Union
Date: Dec. 7. 5:30-7 p.m.
Location: LARC 344A – Atrium Hallway
CSU will be hosting an event with festive Christmas arts and crafts. All students are welcome to participate, enjoy the festive season, and relax before finals week.
