Updated on Feb. 25, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. with details on the postponement of Lindenwood’s Career Fair Week.

Due to inclement weather, the Center for Engaged Learning has postponed the Career Fair.

“The plan is to host a virtual career fair later in March, and we will send details to the campus community and company representatives once the details have been determined,” said Associate Provost Mark Valenzuela on behalf of the Center for Engaged Learning through email.

The Lindenwood Spring Career Fair Week was set to be held on campus from Feb. 21-24 with events and workshops leading up to the Career Fair.

The Spring 2022 Career and Internship Fair was set to be held in the Evans Rec Center with Lindenwood students and alumni welcome to attend. Organizations that are recruiting for internships, full-time, and part-time job opportunities will be in attendance.

Professional dress attire is encouraged, with business casual attire being required. To accommodate, the week started out on Feb. 21 with the “Suits for Success” event in the LARC Grove consisting of a pop-up shop for students to browse for professional clothing.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, virtual career fair workshops were offered to prepare attendees for the events, before the postponement.

“We would just like to encourage students at all academic levels to come out to the career fair to learn about the internship and career opportunities being offered,” Director of the Career Development Center for Engaged Learning Shannon Wright said in an email.

“We will have over 90 employer partners who are excited to connect with students from all academic areas,” Wright said. “Organizations recruiting at the event include the St. Louis Cardinals, Enterprise Holdings, Missouri Department of Corrections, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the Wildlife Rescue Center, and more than 20 area school districts.”
