Lindenwood University hosted a 2022 Spring Fashion Show and Market on April 30, at 6 p.m at J. Scheidegger’s Center for the Arts.

Lindenwood seniors had a chance to showcase their final works through New York-style runway.  Students’ designs varied from ready-to-wear to avant-grade looks.

After the showcase, the fashion department held a small awards ceremony highlighting students’ best work with categories like “Most Marketable Collection” and “Most Creative Collection.”

Senior Kaycee Wilson received the “Senior of the Year” award for her “Divine Secrets” collection.

“The day of the fashion show I was a little nervous because I had never designed a collection before or walked in a fashion show and I wasn’t sure if people would like my style,” Wilson said. “However, it went very well for my first time. I learn a lot and feel better prepared for the future.”

The event’s market opened at 6 p.m. and the fashion show began at 7 p.m.
