Women’s Rugby Defeats St. Louis Sabres

In a scheduled exhibition game prior to starting their competitive season, Lindenwood’s women’s rugby team defeated the St. Louis Sabres on Sept. 28.

The final score of the game was 28-24, giving the Lions a nail-biting win. The next time the Lions take the field will be a home game at Hunter Stadium, on Oct. 4 against Davenport University at 1 p.m. The remainder of the Lions schedule sees four away games, three of which see the team headed out west. The team plays Southern Nazarene University on Oct. 12, Brigham Young University on Oct. 19, Grand Canyon University on Oct. 26 and Penn State University on Nov. 2.
