After a bit of time away from scoring, time winded down in the third period, and the momentum all game for the Lions seemed to pay off for the Lions. The frustrated Skyhawks drew another penalty, as the Lions went to another power play, leading to another Lions goal. The fifth Lions goal of the night was scored by David Gagnon.
By the time the third period ended, the score remained 5-0. The shutout win was Bartoszkiewicz’s first in NCAA play.
